The Substitute Teacher oversees a classroom, executing provided lesson plans, and managing the classroom to facilitate continuing learning and development by students.

Substitutes are expected to report to school from 7:30 AM through 3:00 PM on any day they have accepted an assignment.

Responsibilities:
-Demonstrated dependability.
-Adheres to assigned schedule with minimal absences.
-Holds high expectations for students and peers, sets example by meeting those same expectations.
-Demonstrates effective classroom management techniques
-Exhibits a positive and professional rapport with students and peers
-Creates and fosters a positive learning environment
-Demonstrates highest level of professionalism
-Performs other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
