2025 Summer Reading List

As part of our commitment to fostering a love of reading and strengthening literacy skills, all students going into middle school will be required to read a book from the Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) list for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

Each student will select one book from the SSYRA list to read independently and then will be responsible for taking an Accelerated Reader (AR) test on their chosen title when we return to school in August. Please note it is the student's responsibility to ensure that the book they select is available in the AR system prior to reading, as this will be necessary to complete the assignment.
