Bio

Mrs. Lopez loves what she does - her favorite moment is when she sees her students light up when they “get it.” Mrs. Lopez graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree. She first started teaching at Western Academy as a Kindergarten teacher, then moved to Grades 3-5 Writing and Science, but now she's back teaching K-2 Writing and Science. Mrs. Lopez is married with two children and lives in Royal Palm Beach. Her hobbies are shopping, going to the beach, reading, and traveling. Through the years, she has enjoyed using Project Child because it's very hands-on and allows students’ creativity in their learning and imagination.
