After School Program Counselor (Part-Time)

Looking for Afterschool Program Counselors with an August start date. The hours are 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (following the school calendar). This counselor provides direct supervision of students to ensure their safety and care.

Daily duties include: supervising students (inside and outside), taking attendance, distributing snacks, assisting with homework, overseeing the use of school computers and equipment, and creating fun activities for the students. Must maintain professionalism, implement emergency protocols (if necessary), and attend mandatory trainings.

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old, who has the ability to maintain effective working relationships with students and staff, and who can communicate effectively. Must have High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Hired employees will need to be fingerprinted, drug screened, and must complete a Level 2 DCF background screening.
