Breakfast & Lunch Update

Beginning in August, Western Academy Charter School will no longer qualify for universal free meals through the federal Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. This change impacts some Palm Beach County schools, including WACS.

As a result, students will need to pay for breakfast and lunch unless their family applies and qualifies for free or reduced-price meal benefits.

Meal prices for the 2026–2027 school year:

Breakfast: $2.50
Lunch: $3.50 for elementary and middle school students

Beginning in July, families may apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits at www.myschoolapps.com. We strongly encourage all families who may qualify to complete the application once it becomes available.

Families may also add funds to their child’s student meal account through www.schoolcashonline.com.

Please plan ahead by completing the meal benefits application in July, if applicable, and by adding funds to your child’s meal account before the start of school. Additional reminders will be shared as we get closer to August.
