Bio

Mrs. Miller was born and raised in Florida. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education with a focus on Specific Learning Disabilities and Education Leadership. Before she started teaching at Western Academy, Mrs. Miller taught second grade at Orchard View Elementary in Delray Beach and was an ESE teacher at Loxahatchee Groves and Addison Mizner Elementary. She has held multiple positions at WACS including SAI Teacher, ESE Coordinator and Dean of Students.  Mrs. Miller loves teaching reading and finding different ways to help students succeed and become excited about learning. Some of Mrs. Miller’s hobbies are reading, going to the gym, and yoga, as well as spending time outdoors, either hiking, or at the beach or pool.
